| Walhalla Liberty Lodge
is owned and operated by Betty Jean Dowell and Patsy Dowell Sims.
Sisters, originally from Kingsport, Tennessee, Patsy and Betty relocated to
105 Liberty Lane to open the Lodge. The 19th century Victorian manor
houses a Bed and Breakfast, the Liberty Lane Beauty Parlor and Willow Room
Dining. The Lodge is surrounded by 10 acres of Blue Ridge Foothills.
On site there are walking trails, swimming pool and a wrap around verandah
for our guests.

Betty Jean
Dowell has lived in Decatur, Georgia for the past twenty nine years.
She was Director of the After School Care Center at North Decatur
Presbyterian Church. Betty is an active member of North Decatur Lion's
Club, Medlock Elementary School PTA, Girl Scout Troop 4716 and a member of
the Governor appointed Advisory Board for Medlock Elementary. Ms.
Dowell is an advocate for children.

Patsy Dowell Sims of Nashville, Tennessee
owned and operated US hair and Tan. Active in cosmetology for the past
33 years from Hair Dresser to Instructor of cosmetology, also employed as
State Test Administrator for Tennessee State Board of Cosmetology. Ms.
Dowell has a Ph.D. in Helix technique of Hair Design.
